Situation Overview

For five consecutive years, Babul Keyer USA has NEVER missed a single day of feeding 5,000 of the poorest individuals in Addis Ababa. But today, we face our greatest challenge. Soaring inflation has increased food costs by 40% in just three months. Our emergency food reserves are critically low. Each day, 5,000 people—elderly grandmothers, orphaned children, disabled individuals, and destitute families—walk through our doors trusting that a hot meal awaits them. We cannot let them down. Without immediate intervention, we will be forced to reduce rations or, unthinkably, close our doors for the first time in our history. This is a CODE RED emergency.
