<p><strong>Addis Ababa, December 5, 2023</strong> – In a powerful demonstration of community solidarity, members and supporters of Babul Keyer USA came together to donate 126 packs of blood to the national blood bank.</p><p>The blood donation drive, organized in response to critical shortages at local hospitals, brought together volunteers, staff, and community members who recognized that their donation could mean the difference between life and death for someone in need.</p><p>"I never realized how easy it is to save a life," says Tamirat, a first-time donor. "A few minutes of my time, and my blood could help a mother in childbirth, a child with anemia, or an accident victim. I will definitely donate again."</p><p>The initiative reflects Babul Keyer USA's holistic approach to community health, which also includes eye care programs, medical expense support, and home-based care for the elderly and chronically ill.</p><p>"Our community faces many health challenges," explains a Babul Keyer USA coordinator. "Blood donation is one way we can all contribute to saving lives. We plan to make this a regular event to ensure hospitals always have adequate supplies."</p>
