Addis Ababa, February 28, 2024 – In close cooperation with the government, Babul Keyer USA has successfully facilitated housing for 51 beneficiaries, providing permanent, dignified homes for families who were previously living in precarious conditions.

The initiative represents a significant milestone in Babul Keyer USA's housing advocacy work, which includes identifying eligible families, supporting them through the application process, and coordinating with government housing authorities.

"I had been on waiting lists for years," says Tsegaye, a father of five who received a government house. "Babul Keyer USA helped me navigate the process, ensured my documents were in order, and advocated on my behalf. Today, for the first time, my family has a place we can truly call home."

This achievement complements Babul Keyer USA's housing renovation program, which has already transformed 38 homes for vulnerable families.
